AA and AAA are 90% of what I'm interested in. This is because they're the perfect size (AAA for summer and backups, AA for winter and more powerful needs), and Eneloops are the best batteries, by far.
For the first point, I think everyone forgets the AA size is almost literally had the same hero arc as the 9mm Luger round; invented about a century ago, disparaged as being too big, then too small and wimpy, and all-the-while, it's been here, slowly growing and improving in performance to defend the crown of "the standard size."
Eneloops are the ultimate level of the AA with a pretty great capacity, STANDARDIZED SIZE, stable output, low self-discharge, a huge lifespan, and all in an inherently safer chemistry to carry next to you wedding tackle.
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE that almost every 14500 light I take can use an Eneloop, and they often still perform quite well. The performance is also pretty shocking. The Manker Striker (Murder Bezel, haha) throws shockingly far for the size. My Eagtac D3A with the SFT-40 3000K is absolutely insane...WITH JUST AN ENELOOP! Being titanium, it gets too hot, too fast with a 14500, and I don't want to light my pants on fire. The AA Haiku has the most beautiful beam you'll ever see. The Malkoff MDC AA is the single best light, period. Perfect mode spacing, a great reflector (I love the high CRI SST-20 in it), user serviceable, and you could literally throw it through a windshield, and it's be perfectly fine.
Everyone who loves AA lights needs an MDC AA, and if you EDC an AA, the Eagtac D3A is essentially the perfect EDC, and it comes in a range of emitters (the SFT-40 burns batteries, and there is no LVP, so a neutral 519A or SST-20 is a great option).
Last time there was a similarly themed thread, here is where I was at:
Lets show your AA, 14500 flashlight
Here I have Jaxman e3 and convoy t6

Oh, lord...The titles of this thread has
flashlight, and it's not plural...
So... AA/14500 is kind of 90% of what I am interested in...so, MAYBE I'm a real outlier here, hahaha.
AA is life, Eneloop is life.
Headlamps (the best size of headlamps):
Acebeam H16
Skilhunt H150 (3000K and 4500K)
Zebralight H53FcN
Nitecore HA11
Nitecore HA23
Not pictured (Cause I recently gave it away: Manker E02 II, warm
For the flashlights...
2xAA (not my favorite format):
Nitecore MT20A
Nitecore MT2A Pro...
Since then, I've added a McGizmo Haiku in 4000K 519A (strangely, better than I expected, even though these are hyped to the moon), a Kosen Malkoff MDC AA in 1800K (which I was curious about, and have since come to love), and Eagtac D3A with a SFT-40 3000K (the best AA EDC), an Eagtac D25A with the SST-20 in 4000K (also a great EDC if you want immediate access to a lower low than the D3A), the Manker Striker (so dorky, but throwy), and a Convoy T2 UV (cured the resin on my windshield repair kit like a week ago!).
For AAA lights, since then, it's been a pair of McGizmo sapphires in both the 3000K and 5600K, then a pair of Manker E02 III's.
