I had Vinh make me a 3500k,1 lumen-ish, AAA nightstand light with an Emisar KC1 as host. Pretty cool (warm) little light for late night round the house creeping. Here it is next to an original E01 that has dropped to moon mode on a depleted alkaline. My AAA light love affair revival continues.

can anyone check if the Silvglow head and e01 v2 body are compatible?
EDIT: confirmed that Silvglow head can Lego onto e01 v2 body. 💪🏼

Thank you for that. Wasn’t up to burning out the emitter in mine on a whim.

It’s a little on the heavy side for a light this size. I took the “wings” off of a SP10 clip and use it for a hanger with the split ring. That way the weight is on the top edge of my jeans pocket instead of at the bottom of the pocket itself.

I've got the rainbow version, which looks neat.

It's okay. The tint isn't bad, and 3 modes is nice. I find the corners a bit sharp for my tastes.

I much, much, much prefer the ultimate AAA light, the Peak Eiger. The Silvglow was about half the price as a stainless Eiger, but that means it was fairly pricey for an AAA light. Which is fine, as the Titan is excellent, and both that and the Eiger are multiples more (2x and 3x, respectively), but seem to be a better value in my eyes, and the Titan and Eiger are REALLY NICE, and fantastic with a Prometheus clip.

I had gotten that and the LANapple on a whim, due to the new green color, and it's also my favorite. I think the Pineapple mini is their best product, and this new green is absolutely great.

Don't forget about the Peak Eiger! I have a growing fleet of those in stainless steel. You can also order up your own emitter (the Nichia 519A in your favorite CCT is perfect), send it to them, and get it exactly as you want it, too!

I had to double check. I place an order at peakledsolutions.com for an Eiger Ultra on the 4th. Have yet to get a response beyond the PayPal payment.

Their warm, high CRI led is actually what converted me into the world of <3000K.

I hear ya, and I guess I’m a glutton for punishment because i ordered another one , blue this time, arriving tomorrow. It’s a great light but yes emitter is super green. Still
Good enough light to give it another shot. Gonna try the Silvglow head on it as well as another member verified they will Lego and work together.

Nice! I kind of wish I'd gotten at least one of my Eigers in aluminum, because that will weigh a LOT less. I have an El Capitan in aluminum, and it's crazy light.

I guess there's always still time for more in the future, haha.

Report back on how you like the neutral. As time goes by, I'm finding that despite being low CRI, I really enjoy Cree's neutral beams. Malkoff uses lovely neutral XP-L's in the M91 and Wildcat. Low CRI, but one of the best looking beams I've ever seen (as long as I don't do a side-by-side with something high CRI).

This is why I stick to the Skilhunt E2A as my go-to beater AAA twisty. The high CRI is so good.

Yes the led is a bit green, but doesn’t seem quite as bad as the last one. Maybe I’m just caring less. Great little light through. He will go on the keychain for another round of auditions.

I think you'll like both. The E3a is a solid little light and bright with a good led and beam. Should be much whiter than the Fenix. I prefer the E3a dialed down to the 15-20 lumen range. Used my 15 lumen 519a I3e this morning when I walked into a pitch black gym. Those 15 lumens went all the way across the gym no problem. Good EDC output/ runtime balance for a keychain light i think. Anywho, look forward to your impressions.
