If you don't like QTC, I'm fairly certain you could pluck it out...if you want qtc, I think peak could likely send you some
These lights are potted so anything like that requires sending it back. I like qtc but only if it works well on the light. Just trying to get the details on this particular setup.

The heads are potted with the circuit, but the QTC should be in a disc in the tail and swappable/removable.

The plastic pill is very easy to take the QTC out. However, sometimes it's not so easy trying to snap the disc back together and having it stay together, and then trying to insert it down the tube.

It's also very easy to eliminate the pill all together, improvise, and make your own negative post from a thick nail. Only works on keychain bodies

Yeah, I've messed up a pill disassembling it. This one is the pocket body, so it's a dead end in the tube, so it might prove to be difficult to remove.

Also, FWIW, as the QTC wears, you really just lose the low modes, so if you don't like QTC, just use it hard, and it's a (mostly) single mode light, haha.

Most of the complaints about the longevity of QTC focus on that you lose the low modes, not that it won't turn on.
