I put my Leatherman Squirt or Micra in my watchpocket! The Levi's 501 pocket seems too small to put any decent pocket watch in, but I have no pocket watches to try.

I sometimes use a plastic strip to keep the pen clips from messing up the wallet material...I'm currently using an oPen mini.

You can customize that pen by cutting a length of plastic drinking straw to slide inside so it shows through the slots. Have to get the right diameter of straw so it fits snugly to the inside of the barrel.

The quality of the writing is not the best but the pressure helps on hard to write on surfaces. The russians used pencils in space. You should go to a university and read all the back issues of NASA Tech Briefs.

The soviet space agency bought 100 Fisher Space Pens and 1,000 ink cartridges in 1969, replacing the grease pencils they had previously used. NASA started buying Fisher's pens in 1967. Fisher spent around $1M of his own money to develop the pen.

Both agencies had tried graphite pencils but found them to be hazardous in microgravity because broken pieces and dust were conductive and might get into and short out electrical things.
