    I can’t say I’ve ever noticed any lights being brighter on Pros compared to regular Eneloops. If Pro’s can deliver more current, then I imagine the light would need to be using a FET driver, and pushing regular Eneloops to their limit in order to notice higher output with the Pros? I’ve only...

I’m thinking it’s no coincidence the O ring is ruined, and it’s needed not just for water resistance, but also to help ensure the TIR is pushed correctly onto the LED PCB when the bezel is tightened up ‘normally’..     Convoy T5 Issue

    I fully charged the 14500 and it’s no different, and the Eneloop shows the same behaviour too. Just backing off the tightness of the bezel a little bit stops it happening, so I’m not sure what’s wrong…

    Hmm, OK, cheers. I didn’t think I’d used it that much, but it is set to 100% only mode, so I guess the run time will be short. I will charge it up and check again!

    Thanks for the suggestion! The retaining ring was already tight, so I unscrewed it and retightened it. It did flicker again, but the 14500 cell was dying so I put a fresh Eneloop in and it seems fine now. Maybe the ring was too tight? Either way, thanks again!

    Thanks, that’s what I was thinking/hoping. The TIR lenses are 46p each, so I could order all of them. However, I would spend far too long testing each one, so I might just order it with the 30 degree beaded, and be happy with that.

    I’m considering an S21D, but was wondering about the TIR options. I do like my T5 with a beaded 60 degree lens, but I don’t necessarily need it do be quite so wide. However, I don’t want a hotspot with spill. So, would the 30 degree optic still be all flood. just covering a smaller area?
