Which Zebralight flashlights can take FFL leds? I need myself a rosy Zebra!

Can't wait to get the SC70! Probably won't replace my SC65c as my EDC, but still pretty cool to get a tiny 21700 flashlight. The tint on my XHP70.3 on my SC700d is deffo better than the one on the XHP50.3 on my SC600w, I hope it's more or less like that. They mention "meticulously selected...

Yeah I was thinking about getting one of these defective ones just for collection but... I already have 2 SC65c haha, I also have a Acebeam M1 with a "floodight", so... same same.

Yeah XHP R9050 are often a bit green, I have a few R70 that are very close to neutral. My stock SC65c is basically black, the McBob one is a beautiful lighter tone:

Actually an SC65c with the stock 719A but with a push on power, 880 lumens instead of the stock 660 lumens. Nothing crazy but you can tell, and the tint is beautiful. I might also have to get an XHP SC65c.

I also have to go with the one on the right. It's what I see in my brain when I think Zebralight. Current Zebralight's can vary from the dark one in the middle to the one on the right. I bought 5 different new Zebralight during 2025, received 2 dark ones, 2 medium dark, and then I bought a...

Oh yeah, it's mostly to check that the lumen/candela claims from brands actually make some sense and figure what I'm really getting. With Zebras I didn't find anything weird, but for example my Wurkkos FC11C 5000K doesn't reach at all the candela it should reach in turbo, but it does in other...

Here you go, measurements of all my Zebra, all stock except the SC65c marked as McBob. You can see throw in meters, candela, lux I measured and at what distance they were measured.

I'm measuring a bit less on my SC700d, but way more for the SC600w and SC65c. Mine's measured at 306m, 263m and 203m in that order. Other reviews I've found put them around 320-325, 260-265 and around 200 for the SC65c. I'm pretty sure you measured mode 11 instead of 12 for the SC600w and...

Do you have beamshots of the stock SC65c vs the XHP35 one? I was thinking about the XHP35 mod for a while, but at the end I decided to just go with the 719A with a boost, as I quite like the 4000-4500K stock tone. It gets HOT in 10-12, like for real. Not sure if maybe McBob increased the...

    The Official Zebralight Thread

I just received a modded SC65c by McBob, so I compared it with my stock one. I didn't go for a led change, I asked to keep the stock 719A but just run it a bit harder to get more lumens out of it. Stock: McBob: Compared mode by mode: It's just a little bit more everywhere. RA and...

Basically that's how the SC54c N is as well. For me it works indoors, but it barely has 1600 candela on the highest mode, I measured 81 meters of throw which means usable kind of 20-30 meters at best. Would love to have 14500 support for the SC54c N reaching something like at least 4 or 5000...

To setup G6 I had to use the luxmeter sometimes to double check I chose the right mode I wanted, I always go to minimum or maximum and count from there but it can still get tricky. Since I setup G6 the way I like I didn't touch G5 anymore. A McBob Zebra might be on the way, just getting started!

Thanks for the info! I guess it makes sense, but the way how they mention it on their website makes you think the default H2 is 11, M2 is 7 and L2 is 3 instead of 10-6-2. I'll have to update this table and another one I have with all my other flashlights which I mostly use to compare runtimes...

I couldn't find good updated info about throw numbers on most Zebralights so I just got an Opple Lightmaster 4 and checked it myself, there you go guys: And a couple pics of the Zebras themselves:
