    This forum dead or dying?

And I thought this site was about flashlights. 😂 Isn’t that what will get it all back on track? IMHO. No bad language or comments or arguing because one man’s trash is another’s treasure, just go buy a light and post some stuff on it or let others learn of your knowledge with some other part of...

A small but very powerful flashlight?

I just got a Convoy T6 and like it a lot. It has superseded over the Fenix lights I have as a EDC. I did a review……you can see it at the start of this forum. It should fit what you are looking for

What was the last LED light you purchased and why?

Just got a Convoy T6 and just uploaded my review and photos…..enjoy. Didn’t really need another light or want one but the price was so good and I did some research and decided, ‘hey, why not’. Nothing like another light right? I was not disappointed. It’s now my main EDC.

    Convoy T6 review

So I got my Convoy T6. Impressive little light. First impression was a well built solid light. Given that all aluminium lights are for the most part the same, I expected nothing less than solid. A little small in the hand, and obviously I figured that before I made the purchase but it sure packs...

Incoming - What do you have coming in the mail??

Emailed Powertac asking about their lights …..response, crickets chirping. Emailed Lumintop about a light I saw there…….response, crickets chirping. Found a local guy importing Convoy lights and decided to give that brand a try. Got a rapid response and a few following emails so that made me...

    Minimum usable illumination -- ideas?

So many variables, what is enough, what is useable light, eyesight, surrounding areas …..some that reflect light and some that don’t etc. The glow pulse ring on my Fenix E03R v2 is fine for a firefly type light but it would be a slow walk down the passage at night. Pity Fenix don’t make that...

Show them ALL …..what have you got?

Yip. I figure a number of people have done a similar post but maybe it has been some time so a few additions have been made to anyone’s list of lights. I wouldn’t even call myself a collector and yet I have over 20 lights. That’s some collection Paladin.

    ---Immediately Accessible Neck Light---

I did a review of the Fenix E03R v2 and Nitecore Tini. Both pretty good lights. I have the Fenix and my wife the Tini. Main issue for me was the buttons on the Tini are too close to each other. Actually my neck light is a Fenix E12 v3. (Single AA light). Might be too big for some but seems to be...

    Are Surefire Flashlights Outdated?

Maybe the fact that no one has written for a year is an indicator. There are a few great players now that offer great lights. John Matthew’s and Sure Fire were the pioneers. As we have seen leaps in the LED lumen output world and fancy circuitry, many now want various modes, UI’s and upgrades...

What flashlight is mounted on ballistic shield?

Looks like a Taker B50 Fox Fury light

Should I open the Surefire box?

The battery is highly unlikely to leak and given that the battery is outside of the light no chance of condensation forming. In regards to the value. Not likely much value at all IMHO. Throw it in eBay and see what happens

Knife & Light pics. (Identify your images!)

My bedside light Fenix PD32R and ‘Terror’ a very sharp knife.

Why is the SureFire 6P so good?

Probably already been said within so many posts but in short all the original P series lights were classics. Minimal working parts so not much to go wrong. Outer lamp/bulb spring touched the inside of the handle tube and the inner spring made connection with the battery terminal, all making a...

    Powertac flashlights

Hi all. Only recently learned about Powertac flashlights as I do not reside in the USA. They look good….can anyone provide and feedback or reviews? Thanks in advance.
