SureFire EB2 Backup - Review, photos, beamshots and discussion

Stopped by SF yesterday and had tech support check it out. I was told that my issue was with the rechargeable batteries I was using, the SF branded version. They are a hair smaller then the disposable batteries that SF sells. This can cause the batteries to separate and reconnect causing the...

SureFire EB2 Backup - Review, photos, beamshots and discussion

Great thread! I have had an issue pop up with my EB2C. I click it to low and if I shake it a bit or move aggressively it switches to high mode.

    Sold/Expired McGizmo Ti PD-S w/AOTH holsters*withdrawn*

I have a nicely cared for light that needs a new home. The AOTH holsters come with the light, unless the buyer doesn't want them. One is gator and the other is elephant. Asking withdrawn for the whole package. Shipping will be via USPS priority.

    Surefire EB2 pictures

I believe it was plain with just the caution hot stuff. I couldn't tell the difference between the two heads.

    Surefire EB2 pictures

Again, sorry for not taking more pictures. I did hold the E2DL Ultra and the EB2 side-by-side and they were the same size except for the strike bezel.

I posted above too, but they operated the same way as the EB1 civilian and tactical. Two stages lights. The heads looked the same to me, but the guy said they were different. Again, the lumen level and run times may have been wrong. The guy was talking to another employee about 500 lumens and...

    Surefire EB2 pictures

I stopped by Surefire to pick up some stuff and while looking in the display room happened to see these. There was an employee playing with the EB2. I asked about the light after hearing him say it ran for 5 hours on 2 123's. if I heard correctly. I asked if it was the same head as the EB1, he...

    RCR123 Question

I've read a lot of threads here and questions many people before getting into RCR's and decided to try them in my single cell lights. I'm on my 2nd cycle for the 5 AW RCR123's I purchased from a dealer. Anyway, I have all the charged all the batteries for after using them for the first time. The...

    Haiku XP-G

I know it was too hot due to being extra insulated by my pocket and the heat having no where to go. I just used the same light for 20+ minutes on high and had no problems holding it the whole time. BTW, it was an XR-E light engine.

    It's really hot!

Thanks for the reply Don. :) That answered my question. I just wanted to know if damaged could occur from heat because of the light running too long. I don't use my lights that way, but one never knows.

    It's really hot!

I was wearing jeans and carrying my Haiku XR-E in my front pocket today. After a few hours I noticed that my hip area was bothering me. I was sitting and took my pen out of the back pocket thinking that was what was bothering me. Well, my hip kept bugging me and I then looked down to notice that...

    Surefire Stratum Review

"The bezel has some interesting "teeth". Im not sure if there is a reason these are there. They are not as aggressive as say the E2D strike bezel, not even close. Not saying they would not make an effective impact device if it came to that, I would not want to be hit with it although that pretty...
