Oh ya one of the originals!
I have one also.
Sent another in years ago for a new blade and they sent me a newer model- I really screwed that up

I have an Original. Yeah, you guys don't want me to post pics. of it. I also have the re-issue of the Original that came out a couple of years back.

Still rocking my original first generation Wave and Wave Tool Adapter, which now live in my bicycle's on-bike toolkit, and an old Radio Shack branded Squirt E4, which lives in my gig box for when I'm doing live audio engineering or stage lighting work, since it has the wire stripper.

Kind of kicking myself for not getting a Squirt P4 and S4 when they were still available, as they would be perfect for my on-bike toolkit, in place of the big, heavy Wave. The scissors and pliers are all I really need.

Still got my Gen. 2 Wave with the After-purchase Official Leatherman carry-clip for it. Though 2nd Gen. was around for decades, unchanged. 1st Gen. felt as though it was around for a week.

Check eBay for Squirts. Though don't expect to get any of them without paying a premium. The quality isn't quite there. But check out Nextool's smaller multi-tool line-up. They're worth a look.

Yup -- I got a Squirt with pliers from Ebay. I forget what I paid, but I'm sure it was twice the original list.

Huh - haven't heard of those. I'll give them a look.

Okay, that's actually an impressively close copy of the Squirt PS4. And $20 is a bargain. How's the quality on these things?
I don't even mind the lack of a knife-blade -- it's a very rare day when I don't have at least one other knife on me (and usually two). Though, I'm sure that TSA would still confiscate them -- they tend to take anything that looks like a multi-tool, even if it has no blade in it.

PM me, I'll give you the link to the review I did of it on my YouTube channel.
(Sorry, not posting the link directly onto here. Don't want to be accused of using CPF to promote my main YT channel.)

Waaay back in like ‘84-‘85, I managed to get a black Leatherman PST in an early ballistic nylon sheath. I was a sailor at a sub base and got chewed out for wearing it “UA Gear!” on my uniform belt, next to my faithfully weak AA Mini Mag Lite. Then I found a pouch that held both.
The old ones are my favorite and I buy them when I find them in the $20s or so, if they are clean. The ones that seem high as heck now are those old Leatherman Mini Tools, where the handle sides are jointed.

I carried this in my pocket for quite awhile when I was doing a lot of LV wiring. This version has the wire strippers.
