Have a Super Tool 300, a PST II from May of 1996..and my newest Leatherman,a Juice S2.

(Naturally,the Juice S2 is orange.)

Of course. These hobbies are piling up!
I carry a Micra with me every day and also have a Skeletool CX for when I expect I might need a bit more.

I got wave 4 pc, MUT, wave +, p4
Wave + I swapped a stock blade, with m390 blade, it has different angle and as sharp as razor blade, instead of serrated blade I installed a holder for surgical scalpel #60.

Yo! And, far too many models for me to list over the decades. I'll never sell my 2nd Gen. Wave with Leatherman optional, buy it separately, carry-clip attached. Several Micras, all seem to grow legs and walk away. Gave one about 30 years ago to my father with Dark green handles. He liked it. No clue what he did with it. Probably gave it away to one of his so-called friends during his frequent trips to Russia. (Honestly, he was a worse judge of character than I am.) He only loved one gift that I gave him. A mid.-sized portable radio. Mom straight up told me to buy it for him, for his Birthday since he was heavily hinting he wanted that particular model. Every other gift I gave him, he gave away.

Somewhere in a Russian landfill your gifts are living out a meager existence.

Not mine. I bought him quality gifts every October 12th. His scumbag friends are either still using them, sold them off long ago, or re-gifted to others long ago. No cheap junk from me.

Seriously, dad had to start over in 1979 in America. As a Master Machinist, he made a ton of money here in America. Loaned out a ton of it to his loser friends who used that money to open up businesses all across Russia, just after the Soviet Union fell. Want to know how many of them paid him back? Zero. None of them paid him back a single ruble. But always treated him like a Big Shot and a great friend whenever he stopped by. Sucking up to him and stroking his Ego because they owed him thousands upon thousands of dollars.

They were happy as hell when he died at the end of May 2017. No more concerns he might call in the debts they owed him. His mistress, oh "House keeper" even called my mom and tried to very politely extort money from us for his funeral expenses since he died in the Old Country. She knew perfectly well that he died with more than enough money to cover those expenses. Mom told her to go pound sand. Some women belong next to their Kings, as Queens; reaping the benefits of being a good woman. Some of them belong in the streets.... and then you have women like dad's House keeper. The ones who belong in the gutter! Dad never took off his wedding band. She knew he was married. No clue where he's buried. I'm sure one of his good friends unlatched his Gold-plated Wittenauer watch from his wrist before his body was even cold. Filthy ghouls....

Funniest part.... His only respectable friend was from his childhood. Guy grew up to be a high-ranking member of the Russian Mafia. Dad had nothing to do with that Life. They were just good friends. On one of his trips to Russia, dad decided to act like a Big Shot. Took a giant stack of brand new crisp singles (U.S. dollars) and flashed that wad of money around. This was after I warned him not to do so. That he was inviting trouble. Well as usual, dad never did listen to good advice. And, got kidnapped by two young, amateur thug wannabes.

Dumb and Dumber threatened him. Demanded he call home and have $1 Million dollars delivered to them. It took a couple of days before they realized he wasn't lying about NOT being rich. So.... They let him go. They had no clue what to do, decided THAT was the best solution. His gangster friend found out. Sent a couple of his associates to talk to D&D. Apparently the beatings they suffered required numerous months of healing before they could walk straight or eat solid foods again. When they finally were able to, it was prison food. Dad called the cops afterwards and had them arrested! Oh, his gangster friend was not happy about that! But for the sake of their friendship going back numerous decades, he let it slide that one time.

I think that kidnap incident took place shortly after I gifted him that Leatherman Micra.

Apologies for going off the rails so badly. Anyway, massive amount of experience with countless Leatherman models over the decades. If anyone is curious, yes; Leatherman makes fantastic and excellent quality tools. Definitely worth buying.

Can remember getting the original Leatherman when they first came out,, kinda bumped my Swiss Army knife from pocket.
Got one for my Dad.

About 10 years ago I bought a black Surge at an incredible price.
Not sure if a Surge is one the to have with hardcore Leatherman fans, but I'v always liked mine,,, scissors are a must for me.
maybe a bit heavy for edc, but if I was to have an emergency bag, it would be in it.
Feels like I'm using an actual tool.

<> Must say, multi-tools don't do any one thing that great, but they do ALOT of things good.

Got the somewhat harder to find 'Button sheath' w/ my Surge

Surge is awesome, doing building engineering for almost 30 years, I've tried almost all of them, from Leatherman and gerber, for last 15 or so years I use wave and wave+ it has everything I need, for a first "look see" most of the time I do not need to go get tools, wave has everything, file to trim strike plates, screwdriver that I can replace if it gets stripped, pliers have tips long and thin enough to unscrew rings of Schlage locks, which are almost exclusively used in commercial buildings, tiny watch screwdriver is very useful for small contacts, and when I have to take #2 break, tiny scissors and diamond file, are exactly what I need to trim my nails lol. it is also small and light, yet strong enough for most tasks. Imo the best multitool today,

I have a couple of store-branded Leatherman Squirt E4s kicking around. They came in really handy when I was doing a lot of low voltage wiring.

While I do have some Leathermans around, I still find myself using the Gerber MP series. When I'm hanging off a catwalk or steel with no safety harness, one-handed operation is preferred. One hand/arm on the steel, the other doing work.

No hanging off of catwalks for me. But despite having several Leathermans, my Gerber MP600 Bladeless is the one that lives in my work-bag.

I had Gerber 600, it was one of my first multitools, one handed operation was pretty convenient, but the rest was not as good as LM. At one time LM offered one hand tool (OHT) but it s discontinued now. I wonder why, it is still sold on other markets, just not USA, however P4 does not have sliding pliers, but it is very easy to work it with 1 hand. it held folded by magnets, once you force it a bit, it swings open freely under its weight.
