I think something easier to tighten and loosen would better serve your purpose. Perhaps a strip of Velcro.

I don't think a coffee filter will allow the blower to function properly. Even on medium, you're going to need unrestricted air flow.

In case I was bad at explaining, as I usually am, here's a picture of what and where I meant:

The distance from the center of the trigger to the center of the handle behind it when decompressed was roughly 11 cm* on my DeWalt DCF922.
* Duh, I only measured 1 side, which was 7 cm, and didn't take into account the width as well. >-<
Give me an applied physics problem, and I'll have it solved in less than 5 minutes - ask me anything in theoretical math, and I will ask for the exit...

Next hose clamp size above 58-75 mm is 68-85 mm, then 77-95 mm. They're like 3,5 - 4 USD for a 5-pack, so I can just buy several packs, and find out which size fits. In recommended fashion, I would rather have a tool, but not use it, than need it and not have it.

I was considering velcro, but I figured it would be too much flex in the material. I got some spare velcro rolls, so I can try that as well.

Coffee filter would be for Low and sanding dust only - fleece bag for the wood chips (still Low, I am expecting). And no filter when using the tool as actually intended. Much like a vaccum cleaner, I assume the engine will audibly let me know when it is strained.

that long button above the trigger is a trigger catch, press the trigger, press that button, then release the trigger, blower stays on, you do not need any clamps.

As far as filter, get one of those cone shaped filters, from an auto parts store, some pvc pipes/hoses, and rig an adapter,

So a short while back I decided to standardize on Bauer as a 2nd power-tool brand (20v. battery platform), along with Ryobi as my main brand (18v. battery platform) from a few years back. Literally only reason I did that is because Bauer has the best one-handed Pruning chainsaw out there. While Ryobi's offering is defective, due to one very important feature. Their bigger pruning chainsaw fixed the problem. But it's too big and heavy for one-hand use. And, Ryobi themselves say to use two hands, but don't provide a safe spot to put your support hand onto the power-tool. Noticed a few other questionable design choices/features on other Ryobi power-tools.

So, my plan is to take a good hard look at Ryobi's offerings if I want a new power-tool. If they have one that is properly designed, works well; buy it. If not, check out the offerings from Bauer. This should work out well.... in theory. In practice, sometimes not so much.

That's due entirely to how Harbor Freight runs their website. One, no PayPal option. That is a BIG disadvantage. Home Depot (Home of Ryobi) will happily take your money on their official website. Including PayPal! Making it easier for folks to buy their products. 2nd issue with Harbor Freight, if you put something in your cart, check out immediately! I made the mistake of leaving items in my HF cart for a couple of days to be sure I wanted all of them. Come back, EVERY power-tool in my cart is now listed as "In Store Only." So now I can't buy any of them with one of my credit cards. Isn't that lovely? Meanwhile, just a couple of days ago, all were listed as In Stock and available for purchase on HF's official website.

Ryobi's parent company is TTI. Which has a legally binding contractual agreement with Home Depot to supply those locations exclusively with Ryobi tools. Bauer's parent company is literally Harbor Freight. Contracting out the work to either one, or (more likely) various China-based companies to make their Bauer line of tools for HF. Paint the plastic parts red with a bit of black tossed in. Put the Bauer name on said tools in white, done! You're not finding Bauer power-tools outside of HF when it comes to Brick & Mortar locations out in the real world. (I don't count pawn shops for used Bauer power-tools.)

So, I have to buy from HF if I want a Bauer tool. Problem is there are only a handful of locations in my neck of the woods. None remotely close to me. Home Depot? I could spit out of my window and hit one of those. There's one a short walk from my 3rd Shift job. One an eighth of a mile from the WalMart I go to in order to buy clothes and underwear every couple of years or so. (I stock up heavily during each visit to Wally World.) One along my drive to WalMart from my home. One somewhat near the medical institute I used to attend in Long Island. (That one feels like a life-time ago.) Oh! And, hilariously, I once tried driving to what was supposed to be the nearest Harbor Freight location in Western Long Island. An outdoor shopping center that I've driven past countless times over many years. According to Google, it's there! I drive there.... It got converted into another Home Depot location!

So for me, and many others who want to give Harbor Freight our money, HF's website is where we go to do so. The website run by morons who refuse to take PayPal and keep listing popular Bauer tools as "In Store Only." Just days after they were easily available for online purchase. I guess HF hates money and satisfied customers.

If you guys think I gave up, you don't know my stubborn determination when I want something. I'll latch on like a pit-bull and never let go! Want me off of your leg? You better cut off that leg. No physical alternative locations available for Bauer tools. But we do have eBay! And yes, every single Bauer power-tool I wanted to buy this time, tracked all of them down on eBay from various sellers. The lighter than Ryobi's one-hand sawzall, the compact dremel work-station that stays compact because Bauer's lithium batteries are much thinner than Ryobi's by nature, and the Blue-tooth compatible Job-site radio that won't topple over because inserting a battery stabilizes the base of the radio (unlike Ryobi's version).

Found them all! All brand-new. Prices? Right around the same for all three items. Maybe a tiny bit more money. I think one might have been a bit less than what HF is selling it for.

Three, Private, unknown individual sellers ended up with all the money I had planned on spending at Harbor Freight, through their official website. Money that HF didn't get! Seriously, how much sense does that make? You know you have less Brick & Mortar locations than your biggest competitor. You know you have brands that are exclusive to your stores only. Why in the world would you make it an aggravating headache for your customers to not be able to buy YOUR in-house brand exclusive tools off of your website?! Those customers will spend their money elsewhere. Either at eBay or they'll get so fed up that they'll start going to Home Depot. And, switch battery platforms if they only have a couple of HF power-tools. (Home Depot also does that ridiculous "In Store Only" BS. But you very rarely encounter that on their official website.)

Thanks though, I didn't know wire cups and wire wheels existed for angle grinders well. I just ordered a bunch of them for a drill.
And not sure what this is, but I ordered a pair of these as well just to see what they do.

Me and a friend of mine plan* to try our 230mm angle grinders to chop up an old and rusty trailer he has laying in backyard.

...That is, we did plan (now past tense) to use both (we have one each) at the same time until we saw the specs. on them. 240 V, 2000 W. Times 2. And he only has 10 Amp breakers. So we conceded it would have to be one with the grinder, the other with a camera.

Years ago bought a 50 pack of these,, sold some, gave away several.
They have the raised center

they are very good cut-off wheels, excellent construction = confidence using.
burned though one just last winter.
