Just wondering who is a fan of the rosy color temp, like from the NTG50 emitters? Sometimes I think I like it,...but other times...not really. I have two Emisar with this emitter.

I love rosy emitters. I have an older HDS Rotary with an old D180 bin of SW45k and it's just magic.
Do you find them to be less "high CRI" than something like the XHP70? I have a 4K emitter in a DA1K that seems to have better CRI than the 4200K NTG50, because of the rosy output. I won't say one is necessarily "better" than the other. When I use it by itself, it seems like it has really good color transmission, but when I compare the two, I can tell the NTG50 is a bit less "CRI". It could just be the luck of the draw. But yeah, the rosy looks pretty.
Perhaps a year ago, I first purchased a Rosy tint flashlight.
First thing I did was shine it on a white wall,
and immediately thought: " EWWWW ! Too Magenta ! "
But then, I took it into my completely dark basement,
and actually *USED* it. And instantly Fell In Love with it !
Much, much better to be a bit Magenta (rosy),
than to be ANY trace of Green !

Without specifying the DUV, slight rosiness in warmish-neutral to neutral CCT is probably the sweet spot for me. Too cool of a CCT (4500<) and the rosiness is weird, neutral DUV is better. In the NTG50 line, I like the 4200k. For the Nichia 219b, I like 3500k-4500k. As for the 519A, I really like the neutrality of the stock domed LED in most of the CCT, but can appreciate the rosy shift after the dedome.
In the warmer CCT, I find a rosy shift to be slightly unsettling...It's hard to describe, but imagine a campfire that would normally be comforting and relaxing, but it's suddenly emitting an extra wavelength of light that's somehow keeping you awake/alert..

I don't own a "rosy" flashlight (NTG, FFL emitters etc.), but from what I have seen of a wide array of beamshots, I do not like it.
I am very much Team Yellow, which should be a positive DUV-value, but limited from to around 1000K to sub-5000K (which is the CCT-range I like the most anyway). Above 5000K, if I am reading the charts right, the yellow becomes green. Intensity based on the value number..
...And looking at a chart like the one below, I can really tell how bad my monitors are at colour accuracy. >-<

If so, I can see the appeal of rosy tints - it's like a "cheat" to get flashlights with cold tints (and with that, increased perceived brightness), but without the green tint.
If anything, I am definitely Team Anti-Green, aka photon vomit (Nitecore, I am looking at you)!

As much as I think I won't like rosy tints, I can't and won't say for sure until I have tried one.
@jon_slider I really like the NTG50 2700K you show above - what can I expect (CCT / DUV) from a 2x NTG35 2700K + 2x 4200K mix? Looking at the D4V2.

That is kind of what I was getting at in my second post. It seems like a yellow tone seems to give better color CRI over the rosy. I have both and that's how it seems to me. Both are nice, though.
I used the word "seems" too much in this post. At least, that's what it seems like to me. Seems about right.

How many people buy a big roll of Roscolux (Rosco 304 Pale Apricot) tint filter?

It cancels out shorter wavelengths to make anything a great neutral or warm tint that's slightly rosy.
Have it in several lights and it's not overly aggressive.
I cannot do yellowy tints, just can't do it.
Bought it around 10years ago, man how time flies.

Negative DUV at 5000k is more rosy than at 2700k, which is more orange

Yes. I can take neutral or negative duv, but I'm firmly on Team Anti-Green. Every light of mine with a positive duv has been gifted away or sold.
My rosiest light is a Convoy S21B with a dedomed 519A 4000K, that I operated on because the original domed emitter was kinda on the positive duv side and I didn't enjoy it. Now it looks like a 3500K but, well, more rosy, without looking unnatural or compromising the CRI as far as my eyesight can tell.
Before that, I've owned a Convoy S2 (non +) with an XM-L2 slightly below the BBL and a Thrunite Ti3 "neutral white" with an XP-G2 about as rosy as the S21B I talked about. They have nice tints to look at but that's it.
All of my other lights have duv pretty much at the BBL or only slightly below it. Including an S2+ with a B35AM 6500K that's if anything more like 7000K — that thing is blue.
Sure helps that I refuse to use any lenses with purple AR coating. It's either green AR coating or no coating at all.

Anything between Amber and 2700k for me.
Anything but green ... even cool blue is better than green 
I actually haven't seen a CCT so cold in a flashlight it borders on blue - as much as I hate the 6000K HID gang on the road while driving, how are 7000K and above and actually blue (but without a filter) in a flashlight?Anything but green ... even cool blue is better than green
I think I might snag a Convoy S21E, SFT-40 6500K just to see what's up. Gives me an excuse the see the Black Camo body colour for myself as well.

For the trippiest experience you can have, order the cheapest Convoy you can with the B35AM in 6500K. (Normally that's the S2+ or S15 , but the S21G has been pretty cheap lately.) It has a cooler beam than 6500K and definitely bluish and uncanny, but nothing is washed out. You see literally every colour perceivable by the human eye despite the unnatural CCT.
