I tried Pac Parts, American Perfit, Casio, Ebay and Amazon. I think I'm using the wrong terms (?) in my search, as I can't seem to find similar parts that you've found.

I'm also in the Casio MRW-200H camp - I can read them in varying light even without reading glasses, and they are cheap. I'm rotating 3, a black face with SS band, a white face with SS band, and the
ol' black plastic. But knowing that all Casio black plastic bands go bad in a few years, I'm moving even more to metal. Yeah, I realize these have plastic cases painted silver, but the paint seems pretty durable. The lume is not so good, but we knew that.

Not that these are any more accurate than my titaniums.

Such a great value watch and great looking. This is a watch you never have to worry anything about. Keeps great time, looks great, incredibly cost effective, and easy to replace if ever necessary. No brainer.
 
I found a cool bezel on eBay. Transformed the yellow watch to a camo green and popped on a green silicon strap - a whole new look for very little expense.

And, the grey GAB2100 that I ordered from Walmart's website arrived today from Singapore, via FedEx - with no tariff charge and no shipping charge!

Walmart is an awesome place to buy G-Shocks - especially versions that are not available in the US. This is the second G-Shock I bought from Walmart.com that shipped -at no charge for shipping, nor any tariffs- from Singapore. This is an unusual G-Shock in that the bezel is two-tone, not all one color. I felt it did need a black silicon strap for more contrast:

OK... just "one more watch," because.... MILITARY! 😁

This module originally came as the yellow version. Later, I changed the module to an all black bezel and black silicon strap, so the entire watch was black. I felt being all black lacked a little character so...

I found a (rare) two-toned black/green bezel on eBay: green & black, bought it, and popped it on. I like this rendition now, even better than when it was all black.

I do appreciate military - and this watch embodies that now.

The B2100 series is definitely my favorite G-Shock model series. So fast to read the time, Solar charged, automatic daily Bluetooth time sync, tough, very cost effective, so easily modded., and good looking. (Numerous other features, as well, for those who may want to employ them.)

The 2100's overall (a ton of variations are available, from base models to Solar & BT models, in many different color way variations) are apparently Casio's best selling G-Shocks these days. I wouldn't be surprised if these surpass the digital display models. These are definitely MUCH easier to quickly and easily read the time, under all lighting conditions, and at all wrist angles.

I am in the same boat with my GA-B2100. Since I don’t have the skills to modify it, I am still waiting for Casio to release one with white or at least very light gray indices and hands on black case and dial. Congratulations for the mod.

There are at least three GA-B2100 models which have white hands and hour indices. VERY readable at a glance. The yellow, grey, and beige models. You can then very easily switch to a black bezel and strap, to your preference, with ease and for little expense.

Beige - GA-B2100LUU-5A​

Gray - GA-B2100LUU-8A​

Yellow - GA-B2100C-9A​


As for modding, changing bezel (case) and strap are so easy - anyone can do it.

Yes but they all lack black case. Mine is GA-B2100 1A and I am looking for an identical one, except for indice color. Just like the one you obtained by swapping the dial of the yellow case, except for the yellow mode indicator hand.

As I mentioned earlier, you can easily swap the bezel (what you call case) for an all black one, and swap the strap for a black one. Then you will have an all black watch with white hands and indices. That is what I did.

Here is my module from the yellow.watch (white hands and indices), but with a black bezel and strap:

You can even swap the indicies for different colors, as many sellers carry all types of colors

Thank you for clarifying. I now understand that I can even skip the spare black bezel and strap since I already have them on my GA-B2100-1A.
 
Bought new around 1988 w/o thinking back then wore while fixing cars / riding bike & all kinds of punishment - drop it dozen times till battery went dead around 1996 lasted 8 years! in my draw stash then till 03/26 30+ years - new battery - still working surprisingly. now I rotate collection & wipe this Tag afterwards & treat it gently.
