    It’s a Thyrm Switchback (£19). It’s best to Google them and pick the best supplier for you. It has made the slippery beast useable for me.

    The body appears to be the same size as a G2ZX but the head is considerably smaller. The bezel is the same size in diameter as an Elzetta Alpha. If if the head was to be removed I think it may well take a 6P head. I have not got the wallet or nerve to do so sorry.

    It is definitely cooler in colour than my standard Elzetta Charlie AVS. It is also at least 10mm shorter than my Bravo with a low profile head fitted.

    The head is fixed and smaller than a 6P, I have a Blade-Tec 6P holster and it won't even touch the sides. I have had a Z59, 41 & a Fury tail cap on it and it works fine. I do not have a Malkoff with me to see if their tail cap fits.

    It is appears to be slightly cooler than my Fury but not by much. Because of the amount of flood it is easy on my eyes. There is no hot spot at all, and I would say the usable throw is about 70m which is sufficient for this nature of light. I bought this to compliment my other Surefire and...

    I have just bought one today. It is small and fits in my hand perfectly. The fit and finish are great, and the LED is smack in the centre. I will post pics as soon as I'm in a position to do so. Why is there hardly any reviews or posts on this light?

    number of lights you bring abroad?

    All of them... + batteries to get me through about a year. I work abroad and when I come home I normally pack at least 6. It sounds weird but I would miss them... I have a massive problem �� Olight H15 Wave S1 MD2 Elzetta Charlie HDS LE 250 Hound dog.

    Best or worst way you killed or lost a light?

    G2ZL. My 8 year old daughter "borrowed it" from the car whilst I was away, it has never been seen since . The thought that she will be looking after me in my old age is payback :)

    Well the cheapest I can find from a retailer that isn't eBay or Amazon in the UK is $380 (I didn't look that hard admittedly). If it was in the UK I would be taking it home with me at your price. They are solid lights.

    Elzetta- The industry's best kept secret.

    Not for me thanks. The hi/low tail cap settings are perfect for me... A tail stand option would be good though? I know it doesn't fit with tactical set up of the light but I use mine for utility purposes nearly all the time.

    SureFire 2211 X wrist light initial impressions

    You definitely need proper bike light if you are going off road. I use mine to commute with and it works a treat. The beam does go mostly to the front and because the light I angled for weapon use I don't have to change my handle bar grip.
