Please add Energizer e2 lithium AAA batteries as accessiry.
We can't get lithium AAA outside USA.
 
Peter, I sent you an email regarding a special request because of my situation, hope you can help me out.
 
Having been here for a while, i think that what a better light to buy as my first led flashlight than the famous arc.
Unfortunately i dont have paypal so must wait until it is possible to pay with credit card.
I would also like to get lithium aaa batteries because they are very expensive and difficult to find here.
 
All I can say is that FedEx is freakin' amazing! The light just arrived at my door in South Jersey! Peter shipped it last night from Tempe, AZ. It looks GREAT /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif. Oh yeah, and thanks for the extra battery, Peter /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/clap.gif.
 
DUDE! Solstice, about to be the same story here. Its on the truck for delivery and it left AZ yesterday! I dont know what it is with Tempe station, but anything that leaves that place is lightning fast. I remember when the Arc4 came out, someone in the UK got theirs 26 or 28 hours after it left AZ. THAT, is a miricle. I am sure someone else is going to remember that. Anyhow, I should have mine today, which is absolutly awesome!

Peter, I know Joyce Laituri in SPyderco Marketing, contac me for her info if you're interested. I suggested to spyderco a year or so ago they might want to use your light rether then photon. It wowuld up their package price.

IMO, the stainless criket is a better match quality wise with yourlight.
 
Good to hear that FedEX is still whipping them out fast. For $6 and what amounts to 1 or 2 day shipping, it is a good value.

All lights that were waiting for service were shipped. We also made a dent on those orders that had requested the quick ship option.

We have depleted all stock and we are done shipping for this week. The next batch of lights should ship out next week.

We will probably stop accepting the quick ship requests sometime next week as the retail packaging will be close to completion by then. Subsequent orders would then be shipped normally.

PLEASE NOTE: This will really save me some time. If you are placing an order and want the quick ship option, please include a note to that effect in the "comments" field. Tracking down each email and matching it to an order is time consuming and I am concerned that I might miss someone. Putting a note in the comments field will definately help. Thanks.

Even though I joked about Merri being the one who would have to sort through the emails, I ended up doing it. Partially to keep the peace /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif and partially because she is already so busy. Afterall, it was I who opened my big mouth in the first place and offered the quick ship option. However, my "free thinking artsy fartsy" brain doesn't do repetitive tasks as efficiently. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif Hopefully, I get everybody's request straight.

I want to say that Merri (my beautiful wife) is fantastic... Among the many things she does, she solders the LEDs and the caps on each board, installs the PCB in each flashlight head, centers the beams, glues them, attaches the foam and split ring, applies the grease, assembles the light, tests each light for beam quality, packages them, keys in all the shipping info and ships them out.

I don't know, The arc aaa is more analogous to a Reeve sebenza than a spyderco. Just a simple classic design that stands the test of time. Spyderco is more like Pelican. Sorry. 2 centavos.

Tarnation! It arrived today. Peter and Merri, thank you both! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif The upgrades make this suitable for 85% of my lighting uses at work and home. I own many, early, black anodized versions of the AAA. I REALLY like the new knurling. Smooth threads,excellent ano. Bright and smooth,centered beam. Super job!

How's the color match on yours? Mine is two tone. Actually looks kind of cool, but its got an extremely dark head, very light body. I see the split ring of death is still in use. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif Great brightness. i always want more, my Freedom is whiter.
