btoyzjtx, the vials are made out of glass and will not be affected, I think the way to go is to keep dabbing it with a q-tip soaked in acetone, not submersing the whole light. ;)

hadeswolf, there is a good chance they do fit but I'm not sure, maybe you can ask on CPF?

Ah I see.. well I will give it a try once I get there. I am still not sure what the best way would be to glue the vial into the lantern/keyfob.. maybe I should put some Norland on both ends of the vial, but then I wonder if the acetone will reach the upper end (which is kinda of "covered" as it is inside the lantern). Thank you for your help !
