There was drifting at RA last weekend at the Motorplex part of the track
Outside I could hear it was drifting for sure.. some big motors

In competition, it's done in pairs with the chase car always being as close 'proximity' as possible

This was my first sighting of a four-door 911. I don't understand its purpose.

IMO: sportier than a wagon, but not as strange-looking as a "shooting brake" format.

In the city near where I live, there are a few of the Porsche Panamera on the road. Big cars, if low-slung. They strike me as a long-wheelbase executive GT of sorts.

The Ferrari Purosangue is close, but a sleeker design. V12. Has four doors, but is decidedly more attractive (IMO) than most 4-door "sport wagon" examples (BMW, Mercedes, Audi, Volvo) ... which tend to have a long dumpy look to them. Would love to have a Purosangue in the garage. A bit much for a grocery-getter, but still.

I'd drive a wagon, without question.😀
It's basically an SUV that's lower to the ground.

..a race car, but you get the picture

Audi's got a nice one, too: the RS6 Avant. I could almost do one of those. But I'd probably select the Ferrari Purosangue over it. That is, assuming I could find a decent Ferrari mechanic within ~75 miles of me.

2026 Audi RS6 Avant -- in Ascari Blue with a tan interior ... yes, please:

This is another vid posted by Andy over at DWC driving on track day. If you enjoyed this one, check out his other vids. Dude can drive!

Btw, orbital. If you noticed, there's a mini-van on the track. ... lol

I had a Sony cd walkman, that would skip constantly unless it was on the table. It was very first gen walkman. it was impossible to walk and listen to it, lol.

I remember guys installing mini-turntables under the glove box in the 60's, but never saw a factory option

You pull into a drive-in, you find a place to park
You hop into the backseat where you know it's nice and dark
You're just about to groove, and you're thinking it's a breeze
Then there's a light in your eye, and then a guy says
"Out of the car, Longhair"
But ooh-wee, you're comin' with me
The local police

If it's a Hellcat, everyone with massive negative equity and a credit score in the 300s, will flock to it.

The need for forced induction sitting in city traffic,, or going 11mph from stop light to stop light is overkill at minimum,, so it's horses for courses
Almost every major manufacture has a high performance SUV (top selling vehicle globally)
If Mazda had a luxury brand, and made a 4L twin turbo SUV making 600+HP,, you'd sing a different tune😎

I like the supercharged Dodge, which is owned by the same company like Maserati and others below
