1967 Lamborghini 400GT Superlegerra

In 1990 or thereabouts, at the Monterey Historics and Pebble Beach Concours week I spied one of these. As I recall, it was a pale green-ish color, but it's been a long time since then. First and only 400GT in "the wild" that I have seen. It was stunningly elegant. Somewhat understated for a Lambo, but it was lovely.

@Chauncey Gardener -- We've gotta find one of those Frua-bodied A6 GCS in a rich dark green, with tan interior. Something that'll make your knees go weak. (Haven't found one yet.)

Perhaps Jay Leno's got a line on these. He's probably fairly aware of what's out there, for such "specials".

Wouldn't that be something? Having a cool spare $1B to play with, fitting out a decent little collection. Hard to ever get bored, if the selection's "right". Imagine having started such a thing back in ~1960 or so. These days, a lot of these vehicles fetch well north of 7 figures, often into 8 figures. Heck, just imagine the security and insurance costs, to keep such a collection out of "sticky" (five-fingering) hands.

A look at the dark side of Brands imposing their will on cars that legally belong to others. (By The Way, if you own a Ferrari, turns out certain parts of it can be fixed with cheap as hell FIAT components.) Yes, another "Luxury" segment of the market is a rip-off.

They all do this...licensing agreements

Do I even want to think about how much a total set-up like that costs?

Camper only; I'd guess (depending on manufacture, and model) starting around $60K plus.

If you're not going deep off grip (they manufacture 4 season campers). Due to the overall cost (truck + camper) a class B is an alternative. I posted this vid, but for $200K plus. You could purchase a AWD Pleasure-Way. But these IMO are 3 season type RVs.

Example: Northern Lite Camper (don't have pricing);
