Basically a Can-Am engine in a plain-Jane Camaro.:-)) Maybe COPO at its best.

A 427 is a medium size motor in Can-Am, they got as big as 539 (8.8 liter)

As a young kid with my Dad, went to Can-Am races at Road America and Road Atlanta.
Some current Can-Am historical events guys will drive them for all their worth,,
those motors will take your breath away as they accelerate away from you.

Turbocharging ended Can-Am, just like it did for IMSA in the early 90s'

Road America is about 90 seconds from me,
1967 at R.A. between turns 12 & 13

If only Range Rover could figure out how to make them reliable. Doug Demuro's Carmax extended warranty videos with his Range Rover did provide some good entertainment though.

If they could do that, then I might seriously consider one of their vehicles.

But they've got a decades'-long reputation to uphold, by all accounts. Unfortunate.

I've seen a handful of this sort of model in the town nearby me. Uncertain if it was the SV LWB model, but I had remarked on how it looked larger/longer to me as it went by. Wouldn't surprise me, if it turned out that that one was the LWB. Good-looking rig.

I've got a buddy who has an Evoque. And I've got a couple of friends who have previously had the larger HSE type models. Each of them have loved the comfort, basic handling and performance of the things ... and all have complained about the essential lack of reliability. The more things change, the more some things stay the same. Ain't it the truth.

There are times he's entertaining. But he is so incredibly overrated.
He once talked about expecting the Mercedes Model A to be a budget luxury car.
And, was disappointed when it turned out to be a cheap runabout.
Literally didn't occur to him to do his research, first. An official Mercedes.
Just a badge slapped onto a cheap econo-box with a ridiculous premium tacked on.
So house-wives could pretend their families are doing well, owning a Mercedes.

That's just one example. He once laughed hysterically like the clown that he is.
Genuinely surprised that anyone with a brain would buy a Buick Encore GX at all.
Considering the then new Buick Envista cost less.
Three letters why.... AWD.

Seriously, he laughed at his own ridiculous level of ignorance as if he had heard the funniest joke in the world. No clue how this utter clown is taken seriously as a car guy. Literally anyone can look up specs. and act as though they know about cars.

The most beautiful car I'v seen in a long time.

In the style of: Ferrari Dino in the back,, Porsche Targa hoop/roof, Shelby front end and wheels, British looking interior.
Powered by a front engined V8

It's a modern creation & don't ask the price

Legendary Porsche tuner RUF made a twin turbo flat-8
1000hp / 738 torque
Much lower center of gravity in a flat configuration vs V8

Just find a 1986 Pantera GT5 without a motor and put it in the back, easy enough right 💪

There is a joke. 80% of all Land Rovers ever made are still on the road. The other 20% actually got to their destination.

Full bananas is that cars acceleration and fan downforce ^

Jim Hall was an everyday guy who was a genius, in 1970 built the Chaparral 2J with fans to produce downforce.
It was for Can-Am racing,, there were, at the time, no rules.

Chaparral 2J below 56 years ago

Jim Hall was a great driver, won the Road America 500 in 1962 & '64
..among many other wins.
