Why do you think that he couldn't charge the EnerPower cell with the Olight light/charging combo?
I assumed that what the OP was actually asking about was 'charging' the one cell in the light and not just swapping the EnerPower in and then charging it elsewhere.
Neither cell is a LiFePO4, so the charging algorithm should be fine for both ICR and IMR chemistries, even if the cells are actually dissimilar in that regard.
I could be wrong, no doubt, but I don't think that it would pose a problem, unless there's some sort of proprietary fitment issue. Finally, the capacity differences in the two cells are negligible.
