EVE 50P 5000mAh 21700

I was well impressed with the 4000mAh EVE 40PL 21700 so I thought I would check the 5000mAh 50P 21700 to see how it compared. I wasn't expecting the 50P to be a match for the 40PL at higher currents, but the opposite was the case with the 50P out performing the 40PL at everytest point. It also stayed cooler up to 40A, reaching a maximum temperature of 70.4°C at 60A continuous current.

Just for clarification, is there a difference between the EVE 50P and 50PL? I find the 40PL and 50PL, but not the 50P.
In any case, there must be a downside to the 50P / PL. Temperature rating or something. If not, it's seemingly the same as a Molicel P50B at half the price.

I take my flashlighting seriously, and that means quality - and often overkill - batteries everywhere. And I prefer to stick to only a few different battery models for both practicality and the K.I.S.S. principle ("Keep It Simple, Stupid!").

Great battery and they don't flinch at anything I ask them to do.. at a competitive price.

Have a couple in the red, and the rest are the minty green color

Most of my 21700s' are Molicel though

Just for clarification, is there a difference between the EVE 50P and 50PL? I find the 40PL and 50PL, but not the 50P.

I have the same question. I don't find the 50P for sale anywhere, only the PL. AI query gets a response saying the "P" is not tabless. If, anyone has more info. I would appreciate hearing it.
