Flashlight with fully adjustable brightness?

A few years ago, a well known brand made a flashlight with fully adjustable brightness, from 1 lumen to 1,000 (or whatever the max was). I think it was controlled by a ring near the front, but it could have been a 'wheel' on the side.

BUT I CAN'T REMEMBER WHO MADE IT!
I thought it was Fenix or SureFire but I can't find it on either of their websites. Please help. Thanks.

Possibly a Jetbeam RRT01? Rated up to 950lm and basically infinite levels from "barely on" to the full brightness with the rotary magnetic ring

Jetbeam RRT-01 is the light you're thinking of.

Infinitely variable rings are currently out-of-style. There aren't many around. There are also some older lights which feature infinitely variable brightness and control rings (Sunwayman V10 and V11 series, Nitecore SRT3 Defender).

Fortunately, there are lots of lights with fully adjustable ramping brightness controlled by a button instead of a ring. Just look for any light with Anduril or Anduril2 software, such as the Emisar D4v2 or Emisar D3AA.

I've got lights from rayOvac and energizer from 15yrs ago that have infinite ramping from low to high. They both have their own version of
'low/high'. But those types of lights have been around for a while.

I love lights with selector rings or direct output controls. I've had a U2 for 15+ years, had a UM2, UB3T, and original Titan. Also have two HDSes now. Plus various Streamlight 2020 models with the level switch. Been meaning to try the RRT01 because I'm sure I'd like it.

Clicking or ramping controls aren't really my speed.

I bought a Jetbeam RRT-26 with a variable control ring last year, handy feature but I was mostly after the alternative LED output colours, I am hoping it doesn't fail like on an older RRT-15 I got years ago.

My Nitecore Infilux IFD2 from 2011 is still going strong. The tail switch failed early on but Nitecore replaced it quickly. I am not a fan of a strobe function, but this has the best strobe UI I have come across. The control ring has an off detent; rotate clockwise from the detent to ramp up the power, rotate counterclockwise to turn on strobe. So you don't have to cycle through the strobe in normal use, but can access it immediately and easily. My only complaint, other than wishing for a lower CT, is that the central hot spot has a slightly brighter "corona" surrounding the slightly less bright center circle.

That thing is WAAAY too front-heavy to used for anything other than slow walks. Even at just a casual walking pace, it quickly slides down.
