Do you set the brightness level w/ the LED pointed at your face?

There are actually two ways to solve this:
- Our latest TorchEye UDa version, which is launching soon at Mid June, includes a new Light-on-Eyes Auto Turn-Off protection feature. Here's the forum post with more details: https://candlepowerforums.com/threads/torcheye-upgrade-light-on-eyes-auto-turn-off.489894/
- With curren TorchEye RD version, many users simply block the beam with their hand while adjusting brightness, or look at the screen from an angle instead of straight on. That avoids the glare and makes brightness adjustment much easier.
Some of the features are definitely a bit unconventional for a flashlight. It'll be interesting to see which ones people find genuinely useful in daily use.
A few favorites for TorchEye RD so far:
• The look. We've heard Minions, eagle eyes, an abstract frog, even a Rolex bezel. Hahaaaaa
• The laser distance meter. Surprisingly useful and easy for quick DIY jobs, furniture, shelves, or home repairs, construction check. Less carry. No need extra tape measure.
• The smart display. Battery % and runtime per mode are much nicer than guessing from red/yellow/green indicators.
• BMS (0-second-to-Turbo). Handy when you need maximum output immediately or uninterrupted work-light use while charging at even 0% battery.
