I received the older non updated version but for the price it's fine. Gonna spray some silicone lube in the sliders and I don't have any flat top cells so that's fine.

Question: both with the original FW and the latest (which I installed this morning, and the UI is completely different) I cannot figure out how to use a preset program that I've saved. How do I do it? I'm currently running 3.0.66 which I downloaded from their site a couple days ago. It seems that I have to manually program each slot for what I want to do. I could select a preset on the original FW but couldn't figure out how to back out to the main screen while saving that preset. Now I can't even figure out how to select a preset. Thanks!

If there's a master thread for these please feel free to move this post there, but I didn't see it on a quick search.

It is probably me you are referring to who gave you the recommendation!

I have so far pretty much been using my S8000 in Simple Mode and very little yet in Programming Mode - and certainly not enough to be sure about answering your question. BUT - there is lots of expertise on the S8000 over on BLF and if you ask your question(s) there, Wu, who owns/runs Enova might even chime in with a detailed response.
