1. DHS is mainly for LED emitter with 2 centering ridges. DHS works with Luxeon, SSC and Cree emitter.
2. The difference between DHS and flat top is flat top is for LED that is mounted on MPCB no larger than 14.5mm in diameter.
3. yes you can, but why would you want to do that? However, that depends on the project you are working on.
