Had a strange experience this morning: my Rotary wouldn't turn on. I knew it had some power because the locator beacon was still working, but pushing the button did nothing. I removed the head, reattached it, the light went through the soft reset sequence, and now all is fine. Never had that happen before. It was almost like the software had locked up.
Well I have my answer, I received my Clicky that would not come on back today, 3 1/2 months after sending it in. No idea what was repaired, just got the light back in a plastic bag in a USPS envelope.

HDS picked up LEDs, but actually there is no schedule. Guess the issues with the missing parts must be solved and everything back to normal (backorders processed, ...)
The 519A is not planned, at least I did not read any statement by Hogo about 519A.

2700k will be too warm for me unfortunately, 4000k or 4500k would be perfect for edc. Either way, I look forward owning a 123 Rotary again once everything is back in stock.

It was recently said that orders should start shipping end of Feb or early March… how is that coming along?

We are closer, but honestly, until I have very concrete info, as in we have the parts in our grubby little hands, I'm not posting updates. The way crap keeps happening... there isn't any point. Just leads to disappointment. When we actually have the parts to ship stuff, in hand at HDS, updates are just a random guess at this point. Even stating that whatever part has been shipped to us doesn't seem to even matter at this point considering the state of carriers currently.

Does anyone have the LED descriptions from HDS for the NB35, NB40 and NB45 special emitters from the most recent run? Below provided as an example what I was looking for:
This (LIMITED) LED produces a calibrated 300 lumens. The beam pattern is somewhat wider than our normal beam patterns due to the larger emission area of this LED. The early-afternoon sunshine white output is around 5000°K. This LED has a high color rendering index (CRI) of 90, which allows it to render colors much more accurately than conventional white LEDs. Emitter: Samsung, LH351D, G, RT, S6.

Perfect LEDphile, now if anyone has the same for NB35 and NB40, would appreciate it. Waiting for these 3 lights from last year’s order. Recently bought a shelf queen HiCri 120 Lumen HDS Clicky with 3700k XPG to pass the time while waiting for the new lights, trying on custom bezel as well. Can’t wait to compare all the beams/tints etc.
