Nice light with a nice tint! I wonder what it does (CRI, color spectrum, etc) compared to the more modern Nichia 219B and 219C.

For the 10% among you who prefer the clicky over the rotary, here's a fun retention accessory. I keep one of these Surefire grip rings in my extended EDC (i.e. work bag). It provides extra security when dropping the flashlight is not an option. Say, for example, you were doing something completely ridiculous like... I don't know...spending a week in a cave. Or enjoying a vacation in a canoe. No lanyards. No knots. It also ensures that the light is always correctly aligned for clicking! Rotaries don't work as well, for obvious reasons.
Those SF rubber grip rings are pretty cool, i think they have been discontinued. Does it aid in tail stand, as well for bumpers. Now you need a head bezel bumper to match!

I didn't realize that they were discontinued. I do see some websites that say as much, but I was able to add Surefire CR-KIT01 to my cart on surefire's website. Either way, I'm happy I have a couple of sets. They make a great night hiking accessory also.
