I think the real question is: why NOT purple?! Haha. You can only have so many black knives. I like purple and thought it was cool.

I am not a big fan of coated blades. In my experience they don't stay good looking for very long. Even DLC with normal use gets marked-up fast.

Absolutely, and I've no doubt it would be and is appreciated by many! Life would get a bit boring if things were all alike, and if everyone wanted the same things, I probably couldn't afford anything. Now heck, were it a '70 Plum Crazy Hemi-'Cuda, the color would add a premium!

My beater '63 VW was a slightly darker shade of purple;-)

Dislocated my fingers cracked a few ribs. Bruised my spleen. Or liver. Or something. Why you ask? The seatbelt didn’t catch me and the airbags didn’t deploy. 2005 pt cruiser.
