Got the update email tonight; love your style Jeff. You've got a great sense of humor, enjoyed reading it! Now you just need a Joey dog picture on it and you're set!

May I ask what Torx screws you are using for the clips? With every picture of one of your TinDCs I think I´d like to replace the screws of my McGizmos with these.

Cheers
Eric

Clip holes drilled & tapped yet? :)
I ordered a Tapmatic, and I'm waiting for it to arrive. It should be here tomorrow?

Most of the machine work is done on the pills, besides the drilling and tapping. Also, the tails are finished now.

Sure, they're 4-40 by .187" in stainless. I get them from McMaster Carr.

I've been trying to get some in Ti, but it's proving difficult.

Ooooh that pic is awesoooome Jeff.

Now that you are a couple runs in, I want to touch a new one and see if it is any different than my first run light. Mine was excellently machined, and I'm sure they are only getting better and better as you perfect your methods!

Just looking at the outside, besides the intentional changes like the size of the chamfer on the tail cap, I can't tell a difference between a first run light and what I'm making now. Even with a pair of calipers.

I have gotten significantly better at assembly, troubleshooting a problem, and knowing when to order to parts and materials.

I find the knurling Islands more pronounced on my later run ti. The first run aluminum has "shorter" islands. That and the tail camfer is bigger and deeper.
