Let's just not fight.
I really don't know which console to buy.
There are pros and there are pros and there are cons and there are cons.

Hello VortextFury

You could have posted this also in PRC (Politics, Religion & Controversy) ;) but I will keep factual.

Also to let you know I used to own PS3 and PS4, never had an XBox before my XBox Series X. Now I own both PS5 Slim and a XBox Series X.

I was starting with the XBox in the time when the consoles were not easy to get for some time. Since I am not someone for waiting lists or buying stuff for more money - buying a console i.e. overpriced at ebay - I bought a XBox since it was at some point in electronic markets 'free to grab' to a normal price.

I never had problems with the Xbox, it is a good console, and the cooling system seems to be good, very silent.

But at some point at Amazon the PS4 Slim was available at a extreme fair price (100€ below normal price). A few month before I bought the PS5 I saw the Playstation Portal™ Remote-Player that was kind of interesting to me.
Long story short I bought the PS5 Slim and soon after it the Playstation Portal™ Remote-Player. For me the PS5 (together with Playstation Portal™ Remote-Player) is the better choice since I am not always sitting in front of my TV screen and the Remote-Player is really cool if your WiFi is extremely good. Only as additional information. Mosty I am playing one player games. Currently I do not even have a Playstation Essetials (or better) membership.

My XBox Series X is not that often in usage anymore but my PS5 is. I am even thinking about selling the XBox...

But like I said it depends a lot on the own requirements.... Maybe it helped. :)

I say neither but there both great I'm going with the nintindo switch 2 I love the games it's weaker then a Xbox series x but with good game writer games will look great hect switch 1 games look great plus you can bring it with you.

My situation is a bit similar - I also had a PS4, then decided to try the Xbox Series X because of its affordability. I agree, the console is quiet and stable

If programmers had are best interest at heart they can make ps4 games look as good as ps5 games I'll never belive that game developers are not lazy or payed by hardware developers
