I've finally found a fully controllable LED string, which I have been seeking the six years I've been here.
I was trying to wait until I got it working to post about it, but being totally new to DMX setup, Ive hit a brick wall.
These are Response-Box (Engineering Solution) RGB Nodes (http://response-box.com/rgb/) with their T3 Controller, the Open DMX USB (http://www.enttec.com/index.php?main...ame=opendmxusb), and Light Show Pro (http://www.lightshowpro.com) trial.
On their console, the Hardware test feature (which should turn on the lights with the virtual sliders) turns up nothing.
I have no idea where the problem is.
The interface unit seems to install well, though there seems to be some questions regarding the dvice appearing in the device manager.
So I don't know if it is some compatibility problem with the devices, or the software, or if something's defective, or if I'm making a mistake somewhere.
Does anyone know anything about any of this stuff, or any general rules for DMX setup?
