I would ask that you post the light you are using but heck i'm not sure which one i'm using here. I'll figure it out and edit later.
Black Wurkkos FC13 is my best guess.
Please don’t let posting which light you are using stop you from posting a cool picture. I love pictures.

I’ve got a heap of photos on my phone but compiling them from the mass and remembering what’s what will be interesting.

The red diode is just a round beam, the white one has a complex lens, similar to old car headlights. A strange beam, reminiscent of butterfly wings, but it turned out to be very useful

Its amazing how well these little lights wash out the darkness. Not sure how big your light is? Even some of the small lights wash are amazing.
 
The HL6 is pretty big. It runs on 2x21700, puts out around 5000 lumens and has a big TIR optic.
