I'm looking for the smallest light possible that I can use to darken my transition-lens glasses on command.

Any suggestions. The only ones I saw on amazon were 3xAA varieties.

Hi Starik1,

Not too common form factor for UV lights, but if you can get your hands on one, SunWayMan's R01A UV runs off x1 AAA.

You're in luck, OP.
Jetbeam makes a new AAA UV light, the Jetbeam Jet-UV.

Arc made one also, the ARC AAA-UV, which uses a 5mm LED. Arc is now out of business, but they pop up on eBay sometimes. I have one and like it, but I'm probably going to get the Jet-UV myself, as it uses the more advanced PowerLED, and it is so affordable.

There is also the Romisen RC-3008 UV, which is a sleek stainless steel AAA clicky, which can be found on eBay and at Banggood. I'm pretty sure it also uses a more advanced PowerLED.

EagTac makes a UV version of their D25AAA.

Amazon has them for about $32. I have the link but don't remember if I can post links...

How about one of Inova's micro lights? If you go to their website look under "Radiant Series" or perhaps a Photon UV? (Photonlight.com)
