Can't find any info online on what the driver for this light is rated for. Is it safe to run 3.7V rcr123s in it?
Answered from reading more of thread.
Was the answer yes ???
Is it ok to use RCR,s ?
My Surefire E2D Ultra arrived today and I am pleased to say the tint is a nice white (with only a slight hint of greenish yellow). I am looking forward to using this light outside.
Seems very acceptable to me. Hope you enjoy using it as much as myself. My Surefire E2D Ultra arrived today and I am pleased to say the tint is a nice white (with only a slight hint of greenish yellow). I am looking forward to using this light outside.
Did you get SF to replace a new clip for you? They could do that if you asked. As for me, I don't really find the beam that throwy. I have had other two cell lights that throws better but they are thicker in diameter at the bezel which makes pocket carry a little more challenging. Although the E2DL Ultra doesn't throw as well, it does offer a good balance of pocketability and throw combined in one.Keep in mind the pocket clip is very fragile. Mine broke in my pocket while adjusting pants in a car seat, otherwise a fantastic light. Very throwy with the TIR optic.
