Re: The Lounge

I love that DHT on your D25Cvn. I wish I knew that was an option when I recently ordered mine, but then I like the plain look of mine.

What do you guys EDC? Here is my latest EDC items.-

Re: The Lounge

Thanks, it is a gorgeous little light, although gets really hot, Vinh says that the electronics can take the heat; just wish my hand could too lol.

Since you got one I got like 8 more orders for this light. Even people on instagram wants it ;-)

Re: The Lounge

Yikes! 300K lux from the M30LC2vn, a relatively small light!
I can't see ever getting that throw from a smaller reflector. I think this one stands out and will be a hot seller.
All of those releases are nice in their own way.

And it runs on a single 18650! Yay! It's not on Vinh's website yet though.

Vinh, will you be doing an outdoor video demo of this flashlight?

Re: The Lounge

We all need to join Roberto for a capo walk:cool:

Now which 2 or 3 lights would i take:thinking:

I have to look at my chart/schedule!!!,,,,,,,,No lie, that is how I rotate, get use of all my lights and know which ones are on the docket!

TONIGHT IS: TK75vn KT:Primary, M2Xvn: Secondary and SL2cvn emergency back up and will get the last ~ 5 minutes of use!

Re: The Lounge

Awesome!!! i am envious of your walks Roberto, and i want to have a go at lighting up that cooling tower. Catch 22 here, when its dry its not dark till too late(past 10.30pm), and winter is perfect except its raining a lot! Still i got out a little bit last night.

The Lounge

Had a nice 17+ mile walk last night thru Point Reyes area with a few friends. I used my CQVN as my sole light (had a mini123 HiCRI for backup)
I had my driverVN2 set for 2mode hi/lo and the warm dedomed flood on lo was perfect with plenty run time.
Hi mode was great for searching for a poison oak free stealth campsite.
It's growing like crazy this summer after all of the rain this year.
Anyways, the CQVN used conservatively has more than enough runtime to get you thru a whole night or even two and works GREAT on dense forested trails (especially with neutral/warm tint)
Goodtimes.
