What led will be good for 100k throw and 1200 lumen range for Fenix pd35 tac?? I am thinking xpl hi Dedome..Anyone can add ? Thanks

For that output yes xpl de-dome(the HI does not perform as well), for more throw and less output the xpg2 de-dome.

That sounds like a challenging combination without a large reflector. Like ven said, XPL dedomed, can get the 1200 lumen, but I believe it will take a deep reflector to reach 100k lux.
I'm thinking at least as big as the S200C2vn.

Yea you are right.. It will need a bigger reflector for the long throw..

In my RC40vnT? I doubt it. My understanding was I was getting the one he used in the Thrower Kombat Challenge. Maybe he already had VN3 in it... hope so!

Vinh--just to clarify for the slow ones like me:

Is this right: DriverVN is for lights with regular mechanical switches (e.g. rear clickies), whereas DriverVNX is for electronic switches (e.g. most side switches)?

I'm hoping VNX3 will happen someday, because I have a very sweet stock MX25L3C with Nichias that I hope to upgrade one of these days.

Feel better soon Vinh!!! I've been having a lot of stomach trouble lately myself. Hopefully this round of anti acid meds will fix things. =/ Doing a lot better than at the end of last week though.

RC40vnT of Thrower Kombat fame is in my possession and it's looks great. It didn't come with Driver VN3 so I unclogged my basement toilet with it.
