Is the S6330vn listed on SkyLumen.com? I don't see it. Is it no longer for sale, or did I miss seeing it? :shrug:

S6330Vn was THE pop can light that started the pop can light revolution. Even by today's standards, it is still amazing.

I saw a video where Vinh was saying how much he liked that one . It sounds like such an awesome light!
They seem hard to find used though, I did a search. I guess people don't want to sell them. Too bad I wasn't around for that light.

I'd love to see a comparison between XML2 (Spec 3) and XPG2 (Spec 4) for this upgraded rifle version.

My guess is that the XML2 de-dome will produce a little less lumen than the SDminiVN (Spec 2), but with more than twice the Lux, while the XPG2 PDT will have nearly 400 less lumen out the front compared to the modded Lumintop, but with nearly three times more Lux.

Of course this light is about throw, but at the same time I'd prefer to have some flood with it rather than a hot spot and pretty much nothing else. So it all depends on the actually difference between these two options when viewing with your own eyes. Tough call for me.

Just fyi, we had our first CPF Toronto meet. It was a small gathering; just 2 CPFers + 1 non-CPFer. (more pix at: http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb/showthread.php?390647-Toronto-flashaholic-get-together)

Of course, I brought along my TN36UTvn and SkyLumen2 and both found themselves amongst elite company, e.g., McGizmos, Dark Sucks, Cool Fall, Tri-V, etc. :)

Matrix100 (who owns the McGizmos, Tri-V, etc) is now planning to get a Vinh light after being wow'ed by the TN36UTvn in turbo mode. Similarly, I was impressed by the throw of the small (albeit pricey at US$4000) Tri-V. I might just give in and get Vinh's S200C2vn just to have a nice compact thrower.

Newlumen did u order the rc40 yet? U know vinh said he's taking 2 order?
