PUMPED for my SkyLumen LEP. Will be my new bag-light along with a Wuben TO50R, super flood and super throw powerbank lights. I was intrigued by this cheaper LEP when Vinh first introduced it, but I had to have it once the SkyLumen logo was added!

I think we are in store for a very interesting next ~year of commercial LEP development, here's to hoping that Vinh is able to get into them all! Personally I am super excited for a LEP with VN4, and of course would love to see some HCRI options.

i dont think vn4 would be possible. this is not a driver powering an LED. This output is first coming from a 445nm direct laser diode. I know some flashlight drivers can be used for laser diodes but not sure about the vn4. I know laser diodes are more sensitive then LEDs in keeping the output stable.

Interesting, I was wondering if that were possible or not. I suppose that makes sense. So would that mean a buck/ boost driver would be necessary? Or is there simply not a driver out there yet that truly is capable of stable power delivery? That doesn't seem inherently hard to imagine, but I'm not an EE sooooooo....

Of course VN4 is possible in an LEP light. I build and sold a few already!

I have a laser eye surgery tomorrow so my work capacity will greatly decrease until Monday. Just a heads up if I am slow to respond. Wish me luck :-)
