I have no idea. I'm also weighing the eco-friendliness of a product that needs to be shipped halfway across the world as compared to regular TP that can be harvested from more common trees that grow everywhere. Maybe I'm missing something...?

I tried finding a "review" video where the reviewer dips the paper in water and tests the shredability. I can't find one so far...it's just a bunch of talkers, seemingly incentivized sales people pretending to be consumers...

I bought a bamboo content towel once, back in 2005 from some crazy expensive department store in Paris, France, I think it was BHV. This has got to be the roughest, toughest towel that I have ever used! You could just about substitute this thing for sandpaper! I'll probably have to throw it out, I doubt it will wear out in my lifetime.

Ahem, good luck with your bamboo toilet paper. Have some gauze pads handy for after you wipe with it.

And some scotch brite to make it shine like new!

Thanks for the heads-up. I might try a simple tensile strength comparison between this stuff and the normal paper.

I've been spec'ing and using Toto toilets for 30 years now. At the place I'm currently at, I have two imported Toto toilets from Asia. And yes, they do have the A**-Blaster 2000 seats attached to them. I know I'm in Florida, but even down here a warm seat is nice when it's cool out. And cleanliness. Would you sneeze on your hand, wipe it with a paper towel and think it's still clean? NOPE. You'd wash your hands. So why would you do that...down there?

How bouts if you get 💩 on yer fingers, do you merely wipe it off with a dry tissue? Oh hell no! 🤢
