I'm probably a cheapskate or a necrophiliac. I have several new 16340 with full capacity but I continue to use this Efest and one old AW, which can accept only 80-90 mAh

It lasts me a few days in normal use then I have to recharge it again. This is after 4 hours of repair work in basement and subsequent sorting into pairs after washing (correct color and texture of fabric) of these products. HDS high CRI helps a lot, under normal LED lighting of chandelier, errors sometimes occur

I cheated and simplified my life a long time ago when it comes to socks. I'm down to two brands/styles of socks for daily use. White for my workout socks, black for everything else, same brand/style in each colour. When it comes time for putting them away, I can just grab any two of the same colour and I'm good to go. I also don't use laundry soap with optical brighteners, so my darks don't fade.

My mother is sick and undergoing treatment. I've been using my old S2+ 219C regularly to check on her when she's resting or sleeping. It's got a 7135*4 driver, so the 0.1% mode on it is the least bothersome moonlight I've got available, it doesn't wake her up when I do a round at night.
Hope she gets better very very soon.

My best wishes for your mother's recovery. That's sweet of you to be so considerate of her need to rest by using a dim light.

Used my warm light Maglite Solitaire LED to look in the Lazy Susan for instant coffee (ick) this morning. Didn't find any, so took the time and brewed real coffee with the drip machine. Takes longer, and I was really tired, so wanted the instant coffee short cut. Meh, fresh brewed is "more better" all around, I just get tired and lazy some days. Used a sleep aid last night.

Fresh brewed is far better than instant coffee. 👍☕

Instant Type 2 ain't bad 🤣
In the spirit of the thread, my peak El Cap has been running constant on for a few nights at moonlight (sublumen) on my nightstand. Eliminates the need to fumble in the dark, and provides enough "bounce" to light up the immediate area.

Used the other end of a Maglite Solitaire to punch a hole into a plastic pack of toilet paper, so I could get in there and extract a roll. Worked surprising well for that task.
Has anyone else had the power go out on them during a bathroom visit?

I've had it happen a few times. Traditionally I'd take a lantern into the bathroom and just turn it on proactively if I sensed it might happen. And it has multiple times now.

In my regular homes, I have power failure nightlights in the bathrooms. I've since started carrying some with us for the hotel rooms as well. One of the power outages which happened was when I was in a hotel bathroom.

Thankfully, power outages in my neck of the woods are almost unheard of.
Last time an unintended one happened was the big one back in 2003.

Major storms and flooding are also extremely rare. I don't think we've ever had a flood the nearly 25 years I've lived here. Thankfully, it's a Working Class neighborhood with a ghetto about 25 long blocks away. The rich aren't interested in it. So prices stay somewhat reasonable, overall.

I should add to my above post, yes, I have had power go out whilst sitting upon the throne, more than once. Even more times when taking a shower. My fiancée even had a tornado go over her place while taking a shower.

Today's flashlight use: Swapping out the halogens in my parents' den with LEDs. I bought the brightest ones I could, then swapped the light switch out with a smart dimmer to tame them down.

Feit CCT MR16/GU10 bulbs. The halogens were 300 lumens, these are 600. Dimmer is a TP-Link Kasa 225, because it was 1/2 the price of the Lutrons I normally use, so I figured I might as well go for it.

I used a Wurkkos CL01, and Wurkkos TS10 V2.
