between SF M3 and C3? With the price of 1 M3 I can get 2 C3's...Is M3 much brighter and far-throwing than C3?

The M3 puts out more overall light, has a recoil absorbing bezel, has the KL6 LED head and is compatible with weapon lights

Both are good lights. I have an M3 and two C3's. While the M3 does put out more light and does have a slightly larger head (reflector) allowing for more throw I'm not sure it is worth all the extra dollars.

Just so we're clear, the M3 does not come with the KL6 LED Bezel but it can use it as an accessory. Just like it can use the KT4 TurboHead.

M3 also has a adjustable combat grip

C3's combat grip isn't adjustable

It means you can remove one or both of the spacer rings so that the grip ring is closer to the TailCap end of the flashlight. You may have smaller hands, or be using the Z48 or SW02 TailCaps which are longer.
These two M3 bodies have had spacer rings removed for use with the Z48 and SW02 (obviously in the photo the lights don't have those TailCaps).

to me, i seems to adjust the grip ring a little further out from the base

its a little more comfortable for me /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

how to take them out? and how to put them back in? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif

You just roll them over and off the TailCap end. They are pretty easy to remove and replace (unlike the shroud of the Z48).
