What was your prep for today?

Oh! How angry do you think Milwaukee, and Ridgid users are going to be if they find out those brands are owned by the very same Parent company that owns Ryobi, and HART? 😁

Went on a camping trip and forgot my Goal Zero to run my CPAP at night. Used the battery from my Tacoma to run the CPAP 2 nights. Couldn't start when I put it back in.

I have 2 HAM Radios in the truck, and am forgetful enough to leave them on sometimes.

Finally purchased and placed into the truck a battery jump box.

Carry On!

Oh, you bought one of the best ones out there.
Got a GooLoo GP3000 Jump-starter in my car.

Monocrom, if you use Ryobi, this would be a fantastic addition,
brushless, good power, clutching to adapt the situation. You can do alot with drills :)

$101 fulfilled by Amazon (you have to use 'drop down' to see all sellers)

add/edit: guessing you knew you can use socket adapters on a drills

Yes, and I appreciate the heads-up. Putting that one on my short-list.

Recently bought a Stihl mower and strimmer both battery powered. Definitely a cut above the usual fare that is offered in the local DIY store.
Honestly, if I had the funds, all of my power-tools would be Stihl, Milwaukee, and Makita. (DeWalt used to be on that short list, and I do own a DeWalt router I like a lot. But lately I've noticed a dip in overall quality and performance.) But, Ryobi is probably the best of the recognized budget brands; overall. Thankfully Makita's corded power-tools are a surprisingly good bargain.

Charged up a folk-ton of batteries. I'm ready for the Apocalypse!
(More like a really bad storm that knocks power out for a couple of days. Same diff.)

Wouldn't want to guess on the total Wh in batteries I have in all my Li-Ion, Li-Po, and LFP combined*
Including tool & yard equipment batteries & stuff I 'm forgetting
Feel it's not quite a folk-ton ==== yet

*North of 30kWh easy

Don't want this thread to die! Been slowly minimizing and organizing everything since I will be an empty nest 46 year old in August. And it's storm season…. Topped off the generator gas last week and added a propane tank for the griddle. I'm up to 5 now.

Working on gasoline storage options since we have somewhat of a small farm….

And working lure again. Nice to feel strong!

Filling up my HDPE Hedpaks since we may possibly be in the future path of Beryl

Crimped standard MC4 connectors on the Harbor Freight 100w solar panel, now I don't need to use a mess of adapters to get into my Ecoflow. 1 MC4 to XT60 cable is all I need

Going for a test run

Thought I ticked you off from the other thread TX

Going with mc4 is a good idea & you'll get better current flow,,,
89W from a 100W panel is solid(y)

btw:; blew my Pecron e1000 'charge controller' part of the powerstation.
Walked away from it charging at well over 650W, the price of enthusiastic hobbying.
Knew it really was too much for it, put the spurs to it for years, it's done.

edit to reword

If you did, I don't remember it 🤣 I don't recall anything though

I can actually hit 102w out of it! Pretty wild. I guess Harbor Freight didn't oversell it
