So how would I bring the thread to the top of the WTB page without creating a new one?

Posting in your thread will do it; sellers customarily "*bump*" (refresh) their thread up to once per day - IF there isn't existing posting traffic in it (that will suffice for it).
For things such as this, a *bump* every ~week could be sufficient, just my opinion.
