Zebralight - Does anyone make a two-way clip?

I love my Zebralight headlamps. Would like to use their compacts as work lights, but the clip goes the wrong way to attach to a hard hat bill or motorcycle visor. Does anyone make two-way clip similar to the old 4-sevens Micro or Olights?

L shaped lights aren't really suited for clipping to hats visors ect , the beam would be inya face. You're better off with something like the lumintop tool AA orAAA ,they have a reversible clip & the light will shine out & not at you.

Not wanting it for the headlamps, but for their compact 18650 lights, like their SC600 series.

I bet olight would sell you one if you asked. Might be worth a try.

I noticed that olight in Australia has them on their website. Guessing that the other stores would likely sell you one as well.

One problem though with this idea is that I would never trust a clip that is not screwed on somehow.

The clip on all 3 of my SC6xx lights is already reversible. There are identical grooves at the top and bottom of the battery tube that allow for precisely this action. However, having said that, I've found the SC6xx series to be a bit heavy for this type of use, in that you can really feel the weight on the end of cap bill kind of pulling down, and, if you lean over to far, because of the weight, it does have a tendency to fall off, but, it does work quite well if that's what you want.

Thanks for the heads up Derek. I couldn't tell from the pics. In the photos I've seen the clip has screws, but I guess those only go into the spring part that holds it onto the light, not into the light itself? Like AVService says, I wouldn't trust a clip that is not screwed onto the light itself. On my two Zebralight headlamps there are not grooves for a clip (H600w Mk II), or the clips don't stay on very well (H51). Are they secure on the newer models?

Ideally I would like a two way, screwed-on clip on the [FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]SC64 series. I like the design on the old 4-Sevens Micro, since it is reversible without removal.[/FONT]

Jim, yes, there are some series that use screws to attach the clip to the light, and those are not reversible. That would include the SC5x series (AA lights), and the SC6x series (smaller 18650 lights). I was only referring to the SC600 series which you mentioned, which have re moveable clips. On the ZL website, if you see screws on the clip (attached to the light), it's not reversible.

If you see a particular model that your interested in, post it here and I can tell if you if it has a reversible clip or not.

I love the utility of the double-bend clips that work either way without having to do anything. Maybe someone will make some! I'd pay mint for that! :twothumbs

No Jim, I'm not affiliated with ZL, just an satisfied customer who has been using their lights every night at work for many years now, and to be honest, I'd love to see some double bend clips made to fit any/all of the ZL series of lights, especially the smaller AA lights or the small 18650 ones. Good luck with your quest, and I'll keep my eyes open too.

Not sure what 4Seven & Olight clips you are referring to, but the Armytek Wizard clips fit the H-Series lights tighter than the clips that are supplied with the Zebralight H-Series now. They still aren't as good as the SC series clips with the screws of course and they do tend to scratch the light if they are removed/installed frequently.

My SC52w from 2013 has standard Philips screws at the rear that can be removed... but the clip orientation definitely cannot be reversed.
