I am dead serious. My grandfather brought it home in the 50's; my Dad has used it to repair dozens of drive shafts and clutch plates. It's a very sturdy machine but it's limited to around 90rpm and the cutting tool is set up completely freehanded; measurements are taken on the fly not on dials. Thus I've found it really difficult to setup for threading and cutting grooves.

Re: PayPal Sent

Hi RCatR,

Yes, I'd also like to echo our thanks for the updates and hope your life settles down a bit.

Also, when you get a moment, please edit my entry (in first msg of this thread) as paid. I'm trying to keep track of several of these custom orders on CPF and everytime I review your's I wonder if PayPal ate my pmt.

Thank you.

Regards,

Mark

IF you are contemplating reopening this sale, I'd be in for one..
My fault for not checking cpf much in the last year or so...

1100 miles(600 down, 500up); repairs made laying on a cardboard box in a parking lot, rain, and an air conditioner that only goes at 55mph and I was successful! I now have all within 20ft my office, assembly bench, and machine shop. No more bending to shop open/closed schedules; no more driving 8 miles to find the lathe's setup changed over to a tractor's PTO shaft, and all in the cool comfort of my basement:naughty:

I can turn parts out with higher accuracy and at a slightly higher rate than the other shop, since I don't have to re-setup everything each time.

I just got mine - Pewter body, GD1200, Q2 bin XR-E. :)

Very nice work Ryan! It works perfectly! I love the option of having 18650 or C cell.

Looks nice! I should call my shipping address and ask if mine has come yet!

Ryan,

I would like to get one like this: Pewter body, GD1200, Q2+ (better: q4!) bin XR-E.

Is that still doable? Thank you!
