Jason, I would value a flashlight that is infinitely variable like the T1A Titan and manufactured in copper. Just a little dreaming here.

I second that. I have the Beta QR in copper and love it. Something like the T1A would be very nice as well.

Single cr123 or 16340 with McClicky tail to be slightly longer for more hand purchase. Make the magnetic ring the bezel ring itself so it's as far forwards towards the lens as possible. User replaceable led by using screwed down 16mm Noctigon/sinkpad PCBs. All crafted from copper of course. This would be my dream light. :)

I just got my ready made Alpha a couple days ago, and anxiously awaiting my blue label. The ready made is pretty close to perfect. I think the addition of more bells and whistles would detract from the perfection of its simplicity--but that's purely my opinion. I WOULD be interested to see a different finish, perhaps high phosphorous EN as opposed to medium phosperous. Not everyone likes tarnish, and higher phosphorous EN is much more resistant. Perhaps there's a different option as well. I like the look, but I would prefer to enjoy it without dulling.

Perhaps the ability to run primary cr123a on low or even medium without voiding warranty would be a nice :)

My Alpha ICE v3 tarnishes. I use a jewelry pre treated polishing cloth and the tarnish is gone in a minute or two. I don't care for the tarnish either, but it's very easy to clean off. Just my 2¢ worth of opinion.

This is another option that Jason offers and this is from Jason's site.

NIC Industries "Cerakote"
This is not listed as a standard option because I send these lights to a NIC Certified Applicator and their turn-around is 2-4 weeks. Many colors (including custom blends) are available. Please contact me directly if you are interested in Cerakote.
Cerakote is a bake-on ceramic coating designed for firearms. The application method is similar to powder coat but this coating is much harder. Cerakote is applied to the Alpha after it has been nickel plated, so all internal surface and threads retain the protective EN coating.

The cerakoted lights are nice. But, my favourite thing about Jason's lights is the machined metal. Gorgeous.

I see no posts for a while now... But now that the QR v2 is out, I would love to see a pocket clip that takes advantage of the new QR mechanism. The new QR has no slop and fits tightly. So one flashlight could go from being clipped to a keychain to snapping on a pocket clip and clipping it to the inside of the pocket in seconds. A titanium clip connected to a machined brass plug like the new QR. the brass plug can be screwed to the titanium clip making the brass plug or the clip itself individually replaceable?

I wish the mode selection on the Alpha was accomplished via a short OFF duration rather than a short ON duration for 2 reasons. I have accidentally changed brightness many many times by using the light for too brief of a time, as well as anytime the light is accidentally briefly activated such as when clipping it onto ones pocket. Second, if I'm using a flashlight with a short OFF duration UI and I'm using low mode, and decide I want medium- I turn the light off and immediately back on in medium. If I'm using a light with a short ON duration UI and I'm using low mode, and decide I want medium- I turn the light off, back on briefly and back off again, and then turn it back on in medium. It adds extra steps and feels less streamlined in actual use. Last but not least why does the Alpha make such a high pitched noise when turned on? I'd like to have that changed. It's my only gripe. The Alpha was very aptly named.

What a great EDC flashlight.
An outstanding engineering solution to a common problem.
I'm placing my order for a couple later today... Also maybe an Alpha!

Now that's what I'm talking about, I'm in!

He could use the existing pocket clip design as shown in the photo for the pen and create a "push in" or QR insert that is part of the clip. This way the light could be used with either the V2 QR for neck or key chain carry or pocket clip and the owner's discretion. Again, I'm in!

I think he's working on a clip for the beta. This pic is on his instagram.

Take a look at the v2 QR. I think they are on the website now. This version has a pull-push connection that requires about 10 pounds of force and is much shorter.
