I've seen a few places the Microstream seems to handle the 10440 well, and I was thinking about using them in mine instead of lithium primaries. Does anyone know if the microstream will work with Trustfire's 10440 600 mah with protection circuit?
Protected cells vary in length, depending on the length of the original cell itself, and the length of the protection circuit. In their quest for ever more mAh, manufacturers sometimes fudge the length of their cells a little to get that last little bit of contents in.Thanks for the replies, does anyone know if protected cells would be too long?
Blue efest imr button tops. Not sure if you'll find any better imr than that.
EFest 350mah (Blue color) Li-Mn works
Soshine 350 mah (black color) works as well, the ebay description said they were protected but I honestly didn't see any difference externally between them and the blue. I don't see a PCB or strip like I do on my 18650s.
Still waiting on the Trustfire (grey color) 600 mah protected batteries to arrive
