XTAR charger and Streamlight batteries

This may have been asked, but I could not find it. I have an Xtar VC2SL charger, wondered if charging my Streamlight 18650 batteries on this would be an issue, or should I stick to the micro USB cables?

I have had good luck charging the Streamlight batteries with the cables that they were designed for.

Thanks, I too have had good luck with the micro usb cables, just wondered if the Xtar charger would harm them if used.

Streamlight 18650s can be charged externally without the USB, since certain lights charge them and Streamlight sells a cheap-feeling charger with the batteries as a kit. Whether there's something specific about chargers like Xtar that wouldn't work, I doubt it but I don't know.
