    Looking for headlight recommendations

Thanks @AstroTurf, I thought about it, but seems like there's really been no update to their 18650 models for quite a while, I thought I look elsewhere. Having had a quick look at this forum, I think Armytek Wizard C2 Pro Nichia may tick most of the boxes.

    Looking for headlight recommendations

Hi all, I've been away from the whole light scene, but recently the lens on my old trusty Zebralight broke, so I am forced to look for a new headlight. Honestly, my head is spinning - so many features now, compared to 5-6 years ago. Would you guys be able to recommend something that fits the...

SBFlashlights L10 died a strange death

Just a quick update on this. Contacted Brian from SBFlashlights, got an RMA, sent the light back, and they sent me a replacement at no cost. Great work guys, love how you roll!

    18650 bike light recommendation

They indeed are, and I've got to say that's some advanced UI! http://budgetlightforum.com/node/41726 Ordered 3D as words "very yellow" for 5A kind of scared me away. Thanks for your answers @TheShadowGuy, that has been very comprehensive and helpful!

    18650 bike light recommendation

Thanks for that! I got confused by banggood product page saying it needs protected batteries, I guess, I'll just order it then.

    18650 bike light recommendation

Any thoughts? To provide a counter-example, I wouldn't want to buy anything like Fenix BC30 LED Bike Light, but something more like BLF A6 CREE XPL 1600LM (though it needs to take an unprotected 18650, which BLF A6 doesn't). Thanks!

    18650 bike light recommendation

Hi all, I am looking for 18650 bike light that, first of all, should have a genuine bike flashing mode and not the crazy seizures-inducing strobe that most flashlights have these days. Secondly it'd take an unprotected 18650 and be fine with that. Price - up to $50, although I am willing to...

SBFlashlights L10 died a strange death

I did not. And if it really had died how come it still works when I ramp up the voltage? Not only it works, it also cycles through the brightness levels as it's supposed to when you power it down and up quickly?

SBFlashlights L10 died a strange death

Hi all, Not a frequent poster here, if this has already been discussed happy to read the archives. Otherwise I was wondering if you guys would have any guesses as to why this flashlight behaves in the following weird way: basically it stopped turning on. Replacing the battery didn't help at...

Are there any 80mm / 100mm cases for tritium vials?

Hi guys, I noticed there's some 80mm and 100mm vials for sale on aliexpress (not sure if I can post any links, don't want this to look like a sales pitch/ad), they look neat and must be bright as hell. Though I wonder if you guys know of any places online where I can buy some reliable cases for...

Looking for a headlamp on one 18650

Ok, so I ended up buying ST6-460NW from Spark, below is my short review/first impressions. Pros: - It's quite lightweight, even with 18650 loaded in - Frost lens gives really nice, even spill - UI is great, feels very intuitive - Very good, easy to adjust head strap. Cons: - I don't find the...

EDC / bike light on one 18650

Thanks for the hint, Vortus, although it doesn't seem to have overdischarge protection; also tail twisting is arguably not the best UI for on/off operation which is the most frequently performed one.

EDC / bike light on one 18650

Thank a lot JohnnyBravo, although it does not look like it has got built-in overdischarge protection.
