    FLASHLIGHT TOOLS

Try using a nail punch to screw/unscrew the retaining ring. The ones I have are from Stanley and are encased in rubber. For my ThruNite Archer 1A V3 i use a 1/32" (Stanley 58-911 - 1/32).

    Comprehensive Grease and Lube Thread

For all my flashlights I've been using Nano-Oil 10 weight. When I'm had purchased my first ThruNite flashlight, the Archer 1A V2 NW, I noticed that they used grease for their threads and o-rings. I like how smooth the action was with it on there, then I got another ThruNite, the Archer 1A V3 NW...

Fenix LD02 (XP-E2, 1x AAA, clicky) keychain review: RUNTIMES, BEAMSHOTS, and more

Yeah the knife shown in the picture is the BK14, with 1095 Cro-Van steel. The BK24 has a stonewashed finish with D2 steel. Those are factory Zytel handles on the knife, shown in the picture, they come in two pairs, one black and one orange. It really makes a difference when handling the knife...

Fenix LD02 (XP-E2, 1x AAA, clicky) keychain review: RUNTIMES, BEAMSHOTS, and more

Thank you Berneck, I took that picture after getting my BK14 last year. The one thing I really liked about the LD01, was the 3 lumen output. I would have liked to see one more mode added to the LD02, of 0.42-3 lumens.

Fenix LD02 (XP-E2, 1x AAA, clicky) keychain review: RUNTIMES, BEAMSHOTS, and more

I've had my Fenix LD02 since February 2014, I have it on my person often. I do wish that the light would be available in a neutral white tint also. As for the clip, I've had problems with it getting hung up, and removed from my pocket, by loose threads underneath my tee-shirt. I got out of a...

What accessories have you bought for your flashlights?

Regarding the clip, it will slide on and off easily with a small drop of oil applied, I use mineral oil USP.

What accessories have you bought for your flashlights?

Yeah, I love my Maha Powerex MH-C9000 Wizard One Charger/Analyzer. I've been sticking with the AA (2400mAh) and AAA (800mAh) Duracell Rechargeable PreCharged NiMH Batteries. Their available everywhere, unlike the Sanyo\Panasonic Eneloops.

    Thrunite and Digitally Regulated Output

First Impression: Well I got my Archer 1A V2 (NW) flashlight today, and I have to say that I'm really digging it. The deep carry pocket clip is fantastic!, the tint looks nice, and the light feels good in the palm of the hand. The tail and side switch, gives pleasing audible clicks, and are very...
